Hello all!
Here’s a new song! It was originally supposed to be the theme for a boss battle…but that was never finished it so I changed it into what it is now. ^_^;

But only listening to the song is half of the experience! I’ve also made a video featuring the Reitselai dragons playing this song! It’s a little faster due to syncing requirements, but still turned out pretty cool! Please check it out here on youtube if you’re interested:

Enjoy! :D

Not bad for being made in such a limited DAW. I like the progression, the distant percussive "clonking" sounds were interesting, almost giving me a digital Brain Wilson with milk-jug kind of vibe, but not really at all xD Just an interesting texture. I think the sound of the digital guitar is a little corny thought, and would benefit from having some kind of distortion added to it. Also the overall track is pretty quiet and would benefit from some compression/limiting in Audacity. HMU if you need a tutorial on what that entails.

It is pretty good music, with a good choice of musical instruments and rhythm, including the combination of them. When I hear this music then I find it is true that the music from the first half does sound like boss music. I would recommend remixing the section of 0:07 to 1:59

I like the pan effects a lot, you did a great job composing this. The percussion is good, and I just have some teeny problems with the mixing when there are a lot of instruments. Overall, awesome song!

Retsamehtmai responds:

Thanks! ...unfortunately lbp's music sequencer require a lot of finesse when it comes to mixing since there isn't a function dedicated to it. I'm still trying to figure out a way that works since I've heard others manage to do it well enough ^_^;

Good track with catchy main theme
It makes to listen the track again
Faster dragon version a bit cooler, I think

Will be good for a game in technogenic setting

Retsamehtmai responds:

Yeah I kind of like the faster version more too, but this is the original speed so I kept it ^_^ I'm really glad you liked it though! :)
