This is something I did for an audio contest. This was a little tricky to come up with. I was out of ideas, so I decided to simply go with the instrument I know the best.
I wanted to revolve the music around a character of some sort. I ended up imagining a character who lacks reasoning whenever questioned. Things were always done "just because". What if that character was putting themselves in danger to rescue another? Would they still be questioned? It was an interesting scenario that came to mind.
This was made with video games in mind. I planned to loop it from the end back to the main melody, but for this purpose, I decided to end it like this.
Around 6 hours and 30 min. were spent on this one.
