This song was made for an indie film that hasn't come out yet.

the film dealt with relatioships, sex and love and the lengths in which a couple is willing to go to save their love. The specific barrier they cross is sex with other couples.

I wanted to make something that felt like letting go and being highly involved in a really messy and dingy experience (you can guess what the experience is)

Also, because of the the visuals, storytelling and editing of the movie I decided on a motif for the soundtrack to have an un-synchronized almost asymmetrical composition to give a sense of consistency and natural flow when played with the film.

the title is the scene the song was inspired by. ( it was also added to an orgy scene and the threesome was cut down to a few seconds soo yeah.)

I actually really like the offbeat, dark feel and thin percussion. It makes for an uncoordinated sort of threesome. I'm not great with EDM genres aside from techno, DnB, and dubstep, but I think you definitely nailed your theme. It really encapsulates the stomach-sick of "What are we doing?", that I feel you wanted to imply. Great arrangement, also. It's sensitive without being overpowering.

I notice that once the beat starts up, it isn't exactly in sync with the rest of the song. Was this intentional? If not, it might be worth going back to nudge a bit.

Apart from that, the song has a decent melody and okay progression. It doesn't exactly paint in my mind the scenario you are describing, though. Maybe I'm thinking of this the wrong way though. Perhaps it would work better as a montage song in the film you mention.

Definitely a good start though. Keep it up!

Oh yea, that was intentional, It was a motif throughout the whole soundtrack of the film.

Last edit i saw of the movie it kinda WAS used for a montage...sort of, it was a sequence shot of an orgy which is kind of a montage right? idk hehe.

Now this doesn´t sound like a happy flower-threesome ;) The stutter synth at the beginning sounds awesome. Actually most of the sounds you use are great. Only the drums sound a bit thin at some points. You really achieve a nice dark atmosphere here which is great! The beat sounds a tiny, little bit off at some points (especially when it starts). Like it´s not 100% synchronized or something. The track itself is a bit repitative, since you mostly repeat that one phrase but you compensate this by a great arrangement. Also I see that you made this for a soundtrack and I think it´s okay to be repitative if you do background music, so it doesn´t get to dominant. Mixing and mastering sounds good to me but I´m not an expert here ;) So... Nice piece but I would work a bit on the beat. Maybe a sidechain would help to fatten it up?
Hmmm... I have a problem loading your songs. This one only loaded very slowly and your other one doesn´t open at all. I tried other tracks in the portal and they are fine. Then I tried yours again and have still the same problem...

yeah! the un-synchronized thing is a motif in the soundtrack.

Thank you for pointing out the drums and sidechain tip, I'll definitely be paying attention to that. hopefully by the next update of the song I will smooth out those issues.

Hmm, maybe it's the format of the file? what format do you upload tracks? If it's different from mp3 let me know, by private message or something so i can replace the file to one with a format that could load faster.
