I'm using ALOT of emulators, analog synth emulators, tape emulators, vinyl emulators.
I'm deliberately lo-fi-ing everything up with wow and flutter, crunch, tape saturation etc.
I'm glad that it comes across as hardware, that was my intention. I'd really love to get my hands on some,and tape too, I'd kill to work with a whole analog, tape kind set up.

I really like the detuned, warped tape sound that BoC use, it just makes the whole thing feel so organic and real.

and yes, it was Boards of Cnada, Tycho less so, but i see where you're coming from.
