Stellar! The little Holdsworthian part on the first solo put a smile on my face. I also especially liked the ending. Glad to see you are doing the Death Match again. Good luck :)
Progrock/fusion jazz, what a surpriiiisee
EDIT: Thanks Newgrounds for the frontpage!

== This is an NGAUC Audition Round Review. ==
This is weird as heck. In a good way. Some of the tones (like the horns and that one weird synth YOU KNOW WHICH ONE) sound off to me, but that's all I can really complain about. The amount of ideas stuffed in a 4 minute piece is just ridiculous, but the song never sounds disjointed somehow! How is that possible. Kor-rune magic - that's how. The transitions between different parts are sublime. That 1:05 solo takes me by surprise every time. It's just awesome. One of my favorites of the audition round. 9.5
Mini-scores (See http://johnfn.newgrounds.com/news/post/936953 for what this means and how to improve)
* Composition: 4+/4
* Arrangement: 4+/4
* Mixing: 4/4
Thank you so much Johnfn! I have never shown those shitty horns love and i have no regrets LMAO
I appreciate the nice comments and all you do to review!
Frontpaged and 162 plays? Damn it what's wrong with this world? This feels like King Crimson mixed with Planet X. Overall great, polished and complex.
Thanks man! I hope to see King Crimson one day, or at least Adrian Belew/Fripp haha
Must check out planet X, thanks a lot!
Nice kit sound! Warm, and well played (or convincingly programmed, a compliment either way). You should give some more verb to the snare and some of the synths to sort of put them in the room, so to speak. The synth horn tones are kinda distracting, only thing that kept me from a full 5 :)
Thanks! Yeah Addictive Drums sounds super human with the right accents.
Thanks for the tips on the verb! I hope I befriend a horn player eventually lmao
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
