This was made for the "NG Deserted Island Contest (NGDIC)". I loved the whole idea behind this contest, the challenge of using only provided samples sounded fun to try. :)
I thought I'd make this sound sort of video game-ish, for an island cove or maybe an underwater cave.
I used 22 Samples, these are in order of appearance:

I liked the mysterious mood at the beginning, as well as the melodies at :09. It had a majestic vibe to it, that somehow shared a more apprehensive and eerie feel at times. You have a very interesting progression here, and by the time I hear the melodies at :58, I think you've really created a solidly structured and smooth-flowing piece. I also enjoyed the full texture of the piece. The drone-like pad that comes in at 2:05 sort of gets distorted by the other instruments a bit. I'd check to make sure you've Equalized everything as well as you can. Compositionally, though, this is a really strong piece. I think the ending is very conclusive, and you may not have even needed the last few notes from that bell-like sound at 3:17. Overall, great work! Keep it up, HellboundDochi! ;)
Thanks a lot for the feedback. Even though the contest is over now, I thought I'd still make some edits to try and improve it anyway, based on what you mentioned. :)
I think I've corrected the distortion around 2:00 now, and removed the bell-sound from the ending (I wasn't too sure whether to keep that in myself originally). I did a bit more in the way of mixing/mastering, I think I've got it down now.
Great job, nice use of the samples.
The only problem I have with this is the melody that starts at :58 is a little too quiet. To me, that sounds like it could've been a powerful section of the song, especially with the brass sound starting at 1:21. That's assuming that you weren't going for some kind of ambient feel though. Other than that, I really like this song
Thanks for the feedback! I managed to get the edit done just in time. :)
