This is originally a remix of ODESZA - Say My Name. I had a lot of fun working on it slowly, changing, experimenting. At this point I don't think I can do anymore work on it without the risk of making it worse.

I honestly like the simple, laid back atmosphere of the song. If I had to get some honest criticism, I would say some parts of the song kind of stick out, like the popping effect. Other than that, this was masterfully remixed. I think that you should really continue to do music, and possibly create speed-paints to accompany them. Its my opinion that it would really showcase your all around talent. Keep up the amazing work!

Thanks! I'm the same feeling about the simplicity as you. I prefer that sound to my edm in general.
The clipping I THINK is from poorly cut samples. I've spent about 2-3 days, just editing and cutting off tails on any samples to trim as much of that clipping sound as I could. It was super tedious and annoying. Obviously this wouldn't happen if I was more careful int he beginning of production, but you live and you learn.
That's a great idea! I've thought about it some time, but it always comes down to either embarrassed of the tunes or painting process. Sometimes I can't find a track in my own library to best fit the video and it just doesn't happen :/

Hey, thanks a lot!. I really appreciate the kind words. This was an on again/off again project. I don't have as much time as i used to for music and frankly, I've become quite rusty at this point. So i had to go slow and figure out everything again. It seems like it's pretty far from the original at this point, what with the piano and baseline reorganized to fit my own, simpler melody. I used the opportunity to push away from my usual sound and have fun.
