Criminy, did one of your friends DIE out there in the snow? What sort of horrendous tragedy happened that makes you feel so sad about snow that you'd choose that My Dog Is Dead violin and turn it up to 11?

A brief walk in the snow, perhaps. Come along, don't play in the drifts - we have places to go. No use daydreaming.

I dropped my ice cream in the snow and it froze so I couldn't enjoy the ice cream because of how gross ice cream tastes with all those ice crystals in it
