This is an old track. It's also one of my earliest attempts at progressive rock. Back when I made this, I wasn't familiar with enough arrangement tips and tricks to make the structure cohesive. Also, I was 10 x worse at mixing than today. My mixing skills back in the day weren't just mediocre like they are now. For some reason I was doing EVERYTHING wrong mix-wise and was ready to fuck up the sonic fundamentals top to bottom. I was also way less skilled at editing/recording audio, so off-beat guitars and arythmical vocals could be found all over my music. :P Because I hadn't discovered Reaper yet, I didn't have the right tools to create tempo maps and metric modulation. Doing that in FL Studio 11 was a nightmare which led to jarring results.
