I initially made this remix to be put in my Streets of Rage Remake game, for the soundtrack of the first stage of SOR2. The main riff parts I sampled from the Gecko Yamori alternate version of go straight called, 'Go Straight Pro', found on the Gecko Yamori disk of the Streets of Rage Remake Ultimate OST. The only part I wanted to sample from that version was the main riff, and the rest of the track I made on the spot whilst working on it. When I got as far as the the bassline, I crafted my own version of it from scratch. I've made a few updates, but at the same time, I wanted to capture the original feel of Yuzo Koshiro's 16-bit Sega version. I hope you enjoy, thanks for listening.

Also it's cool to see someone try and make this into a full song. Was sad when I first heard it but it was just an unfinished remix. Thx for giving us longtime SOR fans something to make our day.

Yup, me too, probably my favourite Go Straight remix, the only reason I made this was because the Gecko Yamori version is too short. No problem mate, I will always keep remixing SOR ;) Thanks for the review MysticRage!
