Hey again everyone! I just put the finishing touches on this piece, just a video-game themed song that I tried to make sound worthy of a boss battle.

I'd DEFINITELY use this for a boss fight in one of my games. In fact, with your permission, I might! One person said it feels jumbled, but the discord is definitely what you want when the boss comes in from out of no where. I already have a boss in mind that this would fit perfectly!

About the jumbled thing: He's actually somewhat right, not just from like a musicwriting standpoint, but just from a "sound clarity" standpoint due to my lack of proper mixing on this track. With YOUR permission, I'd like to send you a better .mp3 that will actually have been fully mastered. Just give me a heads up on the best way to get it to you and it's done!

Wish i could give a full on 5 stars, its a great song, but it feels a bit jumbled as to say.
The fast feel, it feels almost wrong for a song that goes pretty low. It is great, just, play with bass a bit, and there you have perfect song.
This song depicts a smaller boss, but armed with powerful weapons, lower armor status. Rather than being a boss, i get the feel of more a trial, like the jumping puzzle in bungie's Destiny, something fast, dodging powerful blasts, staying, until at the end, you see what truly lies below, the dark, evil within. Great song, keep it up.

Thanks so much for the review, I'm glad to get some honest critiquing of what I wrote.

I agree with you that the song feels too fast and sped up. It's partially meant to feel this way to give a sense of urgency to the matter at hand since the song should be in the background. But mostly it sounds rushed because I wrote out the entire piece, then cranked it up by about 35 dbs because I thought it sounded more urgent and like a boss battle. But, as a side effect, it still sounds very rushed. It's like when in an orchestra, the players begin to play faster than the conductor is conducting, and he has to try and keep up with them while trying to still maintain control.

It absolutely was written as "miniboss" as the original name and as I wrote it I just had "level 1 boss" in mind (which actually was probably going to be a lower-tier bullet hell introduction), so I have to say you nailed that spot on :P
