This is an on-going update, on my remix of the Step on Beat song, from OutRun, on the Sega Mega-Drive/Genesis. I went over this again since my last post of this remix, I really wanted to smooth it out a bit. The snaredrums for the percussion, like my last post, I managed to sample them from the original song, same with the kickdrums, and created a beat from scratch with those available snares if you get me. This song turned out really well I think because the snare, even in the original, it is a really cool snaredrum, I really like the OutRun mega-Drive snaredrums, they are really punchy. This song is, more or less complete now, and yet again, I hope this version does justice to the original song, and the composer. This is a bit of retro fun, I did enjoy updating the original, and it's still a shame that this song was only available on the Mega-Drive version of OutRun, and never to be heard of again it seems. The original is my favourite song from any of the OutRun games so far, and this remix is intended to be like an updated HD version of the original song.
