This reminded me sooo much of the Risk of Rain soundtrack. It has the same eerie atmosphere and sense of wary exploration. Sent shivers down my spine, it was so steady and throbbing.
Made mostly with Massive and Kontakt 5. I worked for quite some time on this track and finally found the motivation to work more on the little details.
I had to reduce the volume of the kicks near the end because they started clipping for no obvious reason. Nothing was shown on oscillator, too.

Great atmosphere
I liked the eerie vibe, constantly feeling of uneven-ness. It works great for an instrumental and I could honestly see it being used in an early syphon filter game. Great job!
That sub bass was perhaps a bit too loud. Might need to use a high pass filter on the kick so that it doesn't interfere with the sub sonic energy of the sub bass. Or you can try pitch shift the kick to the sub bass because otherwise you're going to have phase issues in the low end causing muddiness. I would have pushed the snare/clap a little more in the background with some reverb or light delay, but thats just me. Otherwise, interesting sounds used in this song... Very experimental. Good stuff.
Thank you for your response. Yeah, the kicks gave me a hard time in this track. I did not think about a high pass filter, I will remember this the next time. Also on the claps I already had a reverb but maybe it was too subtle, but you are right, they could be more in the background. I am constantly learning:)
Thanks again for your response, much appreciated.
Awesome as always, i really like your style, i like how your songs are slow but consistent and you give them that feeling of alert, i dunno, i just like it.
Thank you very much :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
