It's coherent, but at some parts it just barely manages to be so, and that's because the sounds conflicts a bit too much here and there. I would focus on focus on making the sound a bit more crisp and giving it a clear feel (does it want to be 8-bit sounding, classical, or more modern?) if you decide to tweak this a bit. It's not a bad song, it could just use a little bit of finish.
