A song I made a long time ago.
Mixed it real quick, and released it.

That's the music I favorite!
fast,fancy,fantastic.
If the drum at the end can get shorter,it will be better(just perseonal advise!)

TheMightyApple responds:

Thank you for advice! :)
Maybe I will make a full song of it later ;)

And your my 10th fan, hurray :D

I dig it! Reminds me of Super Meat Boy. Especially the very verbose melody, and the buzzy/fuzzy bassline. The drumbreak at the end was an interesting choice.

TheMightyApple responds:

Thank you ^^
Glad you like it :D

man i wish i could make some melodic and energetic as this. I might have to practice some. :) but thanks for sharing i enjoyed every moment of the loop. :D

TheMightyApple responds:

Yeeaaah :)
Thank you ^^

It's fast,it's furious,it's amazing,yet too short.The ending was a little too sudden..

TheMightyApple responds:

Don't know if you noticed, but it's a little loop. I doesn't end really ^^

Really cool track here. I'm going to have a go reviewing it similarly to how you did mine. :)

The mix is incredibly tight. Everything sits together really well. The only thing I would say is that making the kick quieter but side-chaining it to the rest of the instruments would have worked better than making it loud as it does draw your attention away from other elements of the track a bit.

Compositionwise, everything fits together very well. You have different instrument layers on top of each other that play well with each other. I believe some of this is to do with way they sit in the mix but either way it works. You've done a great job of subtly going outside of the major scale in parts.

The feel of it really reminds me of Danny Baranowsky's work for Super Meat Boy, but with a more energetic tempo. This would work very well as a fast paced track for a fast paced video game.

One more thing is that I like the final drum fill and the way it loops. However, the first cymbal right at the beginning should be just as loud and distorted to make the transition smoother.

Excellent track anyway!

TheMightyApple responds:

Thank you for your review!

I think you are right about the kick. Maybe in the future I will mix it again on good monitors and fine tune everything. It's always nice to have a second look on the mix ;)

I never even thought of making the first crash distorted for a better loop, gonna try that out!
and FUCK YEAH for Danny Baranowsky :)

Thanks again ^^
