Ive always wanted to nail a remix of this!! Killswitch Engage's Metal song is amazing, but ive never heard any different mixes of it until late. I wanted to put my spin on it but never had the mic to record vocals properly.
Ive been working on this pretty solid - Although it's not perfect, i'm very happy with the outcome. Ive been playing and toying with the idea of slowing it down, So heres the outcome.

Nice singing! The vocals sound kind of metallic, though.
There's a fair amount of distortion/artifacts, maybe from the loud beat and associated ducking or compression. I'm not sure if that is intentional, but, to me, it adds a "falling apart" feeling to the mood.
I can't stand the growling screaming singing style, so I can certainly appreciate your version. :)
The vocals are intentionally sparky, it's almost a robot quality - little grainy, but thats how i like it.
