Finally another one of my usual type of songs, and from lbp no less! Although it probably doesn’t sound like it, this song was inspired by Midna’s Lament from LoZ Twilight Princess. :D Well, mainly the piano part, but I sped it up a little and added more things that I like to it. ^_^

If you’re interested, you can see the sequencer for this song here you youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK3CwaD6eYc

Enjoy! :D

Its OK. Has a nice ambient feel to it. Would be nice in a game. Now I don't know how much of this song was made using loops or samples as you used the LBP sequencer, but it was generally well composed (or arranged?). So 3 stars for that.

Only problem I have is that it sounds too generic. All I am hearing is preprogrammed loops, sounds and mixing settings that are not by you. You haven't seemed to have developed your unique style yet. Though I guess you're still a beginner.

Unless you're just doing this as a hobby, you really have to get a proper DAW someday to develop your unique style and produce better quality music. LBP's sequencer isn't going to allow you to find that unfortunately.

Every note in this song was thought of and placed by myself. I did not use anything from any other songs to make it, only that it was inspired by a LoZ song (which it doesn't even sound that close to). Using the lbp sequencer does not require you to use "loops" from other premade songs...if that is what you are implying. You make your own stuff. Also, yes this is a hobby but I don't think my music is generic. :( Perhaps this one comes off that way because of how it was made (it was based on something else), but not all my songs necessarily sound like this one. I am also curious what songs you think this might be taken from? I would like to hear them so I know to avoid sounds like that in the future...I make music based on what I like, and if things from other songs that I like pop into my head while composing, I might unintentionally make something similar. I don't intentionally copy when I make original music...
