This is what the song is about and how the story transition goes. The song is about a man who's out at work doing his thing and is just about to be on top of the world with a multi-million dollar deal. With it, they (him and his wife) can finally live the life they always wanted after all the hardships they've endured to get there.

He's on his way home from work one night, all excited to get back home and tell her the news. So overjoyed, he decides to call his wife and tell her the great news. During the conversation, the wife finds out someone is at the door and she tells him its someone he knows. He wonders why and tells her not to open the door and wait til he gets home...but before he could finish his sentence, she puts the phone down and she answers the door anyway and it is then, the turn for the worse happens to his world (Gunshot). Screaming and yelling her name through the phone...he drives faster to hurry and save her, only to find out he is too late.

He attends her funeral and weeps in anguish over the loss over the very thing that mean more to him than that million-dollar deal...and it ends with him closing the coffin after seeing her face one last time....and she, an angel living in the beautiful nature of heaven, watching and waiting for him.
