I wanted to try something new again and created this track, which went into a whole other direction than I had intended. I wanted to make a more epic track out of this but then decided that the atmosphere was fine as it was now and decided to finish the track rather than ruining it with new stuff that I am not very experienced on. Maybe in the future I will make a complete track out of this but for now I don't see how I could make this song full-length.Hope you enjoy the track anyways.

This track left me wanting so so so much more! ^_^ Mastering needed work yes. But, i wanted to hear more of this. This is one of those tracks that i swear i could hear the entire "Storyline" of for hours on end.

I kinda like it too. for how minimalistic it is it has a lot of feeling. wouldn't mind it in a anime or during a scene in a movie

I like the atmosphere that you set in this song. It's desolate and eerie, which the simplicity of the song helps highlight. As Angelsosa said, I can see this as a game BGM, just looped perfectly.

Most of this eerieness comes from the airiness of the whole track with the background effects. In addition to this, the tensions and dissonance (I want to say dissonance, but I may be a bit off) from the main instruments help to create a desolate feeling to the airiness instead of a feeling of safety. I'd definitely improve on this track at a later date; it seems like a winner.

However, I don't believe it's mastered quite that well. I would like to hear the instruments more crisply in the beginning, yet at the same levels as in the interlude and second part. Perhaps something can be done with velocity and decay levels on a filter? I don't know, I'm probably wrong, but I really like where this is going. Keep it up!

Thank you very much. Yeah, mastering is most definitely my greatest weakpoint when it comes to making music right now. I'll try to improve my skills, though.

That was very cool, the notes play a game of constantly create and release tension. It could fit perfectly as the soundtrack of a flash game here on newgrounds, i think. I found it really interesting, the only thing y think that could be better was the mastering, but a great short song, of course-

SoTJake responds:

THank you :)
