Hey, all.

This is a new song called "Warmth In Orbit".

It's off of a new album coming out in January called ATRIUM.

You can find it at my bandcamp ( tteoai.bandcamp ) for preorder.

This song is almost entirely in 7/4 and is quite loop oriented. Fans of chiptune will enjoy this!

Gets a 5 for the odd meter and groovability. I like the different minor chords to each ear, blending to sevenths and ninths -- or that's what it sounds like. The melody around 1:15 is infectious, as well. I could listen to this for days.

However, it isn't perfect. At times, the melody feels a little glaring over the background, if you're going for full relaxation. It's hard to make relaxing sounds in chiptune though, so I respect you for that. Anyway, it's a very minor complaint. Doesn't affect my listening. Great work!

This want what I was expecting, but this song is very good, I will have to try to remember this. Also, I havnt seen any songs mostly in 7/4, its interesting and i like it, gratz

Brought back much nostalgia from my older adventure gaming years :).
Instantly hooked, downloaded within 20s.

Much appreciated, dude! Listen to the full album! (:

I love your stuff!! Nice arrangement and perfect chiptune sounds. Instantly hooked on the catchyness, I was expecting a bigger climax but this is otherwise perfect. Awesome track :)

Update 10/2018
I still absolutely love this song! The mathematics of it, the overlapping melodies that create such beautiful harmony. And that synth that enters at about 1:11 just hits the spot! This is an amazing song to me, just stellar work!

HalfStepTides responds:

Thank you so much! :)

Stick around for the album!
