I dont review alot nowadays
I like this one, easygoing guitarplaying in the beginning, The effects made it sound like bad quality, but it fooled me. The drums surprised me, cool a switch, and groovy too! Great how it goes along together too. I love it this far. At this point I read about vox, I wondered what that would sound like. And then it started, really good. I mean, sometimes its hard to think of what way to add vox, and this was good(: Good way of keeping interest, Yeah^^
OR: 10, I like the subject, also the style^^
DI: 9, I like it^^
CL: 8, pretty good, I think it could be better though
EF: 8, Good work
OV: 9, Like it alot^^ Im not sure about the equalizing though, might make the kick a bit more powerfull.
glad u enjoyed the track and the transition... vox, yeh, is difficult... i may have a different standpoint to a lot of peple... all of my vox are purely functional, i generally don't like the sound of my voice and therefore only use it when i feel it's needed and try and twist it so it's relevant and adds to a track rather than using it as a focal point.
whatever, thanks for listening
This is so great
This first part of the song is beautiful, your guitar's clean sound is just awesome. What guitar do you have btw?
The second part is very catchy, especially once the vocals kick in. Makes me think of the music in the good old game, "The Neverhood", possibly because of the weirdness.
Really awesome job.
Btw, "Telefon Israel" haha? Not sure about the telefon reference :)
i have a cuntingly overpriced piece of shit ibanez js 1000, i went through about 5 years ago when i thought a satriani guitar seemed like a good idea...
'the neverhood? never heard of it, will have to look it up i surpose.
telefon israel? don't read too much into it, i chat an awful lot of rubbish
Man, that guitar is just beautiful, I could listen to that all day. You could easily make a whole track based around just that progression I reckon. Sounds like a flute too, nice, nice! Bass comes in, excellent bass. Very nice whistly pad.
Classic Ped changeup! Love that acidy bass, sounds like there's a bit of reverb or chorus on it, suits the vocals I guess, gives it a nice grimey yet slightly disconnected feeling. Good insistent quality to the vocals. Digging the phat beat. Hmmm..bit of a pop or something in the drumloop? A little distracting.
Ya know, this is your most pro track I've heard I think. definitely one of your best mate!
hey pad, thanks. one of my best? hmmm... wasn't sure about it, was pretty rushed.
yeh, was a pop on the recording of the beat.
Very, Franz Ferdinand-ish? Great song though, vocals, bass, guitar kick ass together in this song. Shoulda submitted under Indie. Whatever. Forgive me. I'm not in the mood for writing a long review write now. :)

thanks for listening, enjoying and reviewing, i'm sorry if u meant that as a complement but the franz comparason has made me want to smash up my guitar god damn, need to calm myself... and jeez, this has been downvoted hard, there must be some real cocks near the top of the general rock list. anyway, i'm gonna stop whining, is bad luck to write a response longer than the review;)
Cool playing in the opening, nice touch with fx on the track. I have to admit that I the track lost a bit it's feeling when the drums and voice kick in. You can't keep a track "normal" can you? :D
It's interesting none the less, not something I could listen to all day but it's something to crank me up! XD
Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE_555! You voted 5 for this gravity, raising its score from 4.17 to 4.29.
