Now that my school's finally been kicked in its teeth with a strike, I finally have the time I want to sit down and learn FL Studio 11. So this is what I've been working on for the past, like, 2.5 weeks. Reason I took so long because FL Studio is still pretty foreign to me and I've changed what I've done so much because at the rate I was learning, I wasn't satisfied with what I had done previously. Same goes for the finished project. I really hope I get better >-<.
I named after the Hubble telescope, because astronomy, being the one thing I adore the most besides music, really represents that feeling of discovery and the glory of finding something new. For me it was discovering my love of entertaining people with music, and how the fuck FL does shit.
I started off with DnB as the first genre to work on, and I gotta apologize with my past, "electronic songs," because I really had no idea what I was doing with them. I didn't know the rules of a generic electronic or techno song. Now that I've got a better idea I think I have the right to call this drum and bass :P.
Working on dance music is fun and all, but I've always been inspired to make video gamey music and it's what I've listened to a good chunk of my life, and I've only really gotten into dance music in the last year or so.
Sorry for such a long fucking description, after all it's just a song, I'm just really happy to get back on track :). (LOL GET IT?)
