So...

A few people have joked about how few non-loops I've been uploading lately. Here's one!

Initially, I figured I hadn't made a good simple piano piece (that's actually played by me) in a while. The ones I have composed have pretty much been too difficult for me to play without major mistakes. Thus, the objective was to make a good piece that I could actually play.
Still, I kind of failed in doing so...

I'm not that great a pianist, so this turned out to be a very difficult piece for me to play -_-
I managed to do okay after three recordings, but I edited out some minor mistakes o.O

I was very lazy when adding the reverb, EQ and such, so this song sounds a bit weird :p
The thing that bothers me the most is that there is a bit of clipping D:<
I'm too tired to do something about it though :/
(EDIT: I did get rid of the worst of the clipping, but I think there's a very small clip left ._.)

Copositionwise, I'm pretty proud of this one :D
It might not be my greatest piece, but I sure do like it, and it's fun to play too. One could argue that it's a bit too jumpy and random, but I like to imagine that it's supposed to be that way. A bit like soundtrack music perhaps?
If only I had the time, I think I'd like to redo this as an orchestral piece :)
I'm being drafted in less than a week though, and won't have time for much anything at all :(

I can sense a resemblance between a few songs and a few parts if my composition, but it's probably coincidental. At least it's not intentional XD

As for the name of the piece, I don't really know... I just decided that this song is a bit dramatic, and explores a few different themes, so I just gave it a quick title. If you come up with anything better, be sure to inform me!!!

I've blabbered enough now. What do you think?
