Lyrics:

Beneath the sea, lurking ominously. There is an evil that's beckoning me.

Deeper and deeper, I swim endlessly. Unsure of what the shadowy terror could be

blacker than black, I could not forsee. The blasphemous creature before me.

I fell on its gaze, now a servant to thee. My cancerous master, what do you wish of me?

Without a reason, I'll stalk on the land. I'll search for a victim, who'll die by my hand.

Their flesh is my prize, so sweet and so pure. I'll think not a thing of the pain they'll endure.

blacker than black, I could not forsee. The blasphemous creature before me.

I fell on its gaze, now a servant to thee. My cancerous master, what do you wish of me?

waiting for nightfall, emerging soon. Paving my path by the light of the moon.

What have I become, What evil am I? How many victims must violently die.

Note the ending would have had a really cool feel good ending if we had someone who could actually sing, since the song ends on a pretty happy sort of vibe. So just keep that in mind if you think the lyrics are too dark. Anyways me and a friend wrote this. I did most the mixing, recorded guitar and vocals myself. And my friend did the drums and keyboard parts. This was a really fun song to write and record and I hope some of you guys like it.

If not leave me some feedback and help me improve!

Thanks for the listen! :D

I could enjoy listening to this =)
Just the way it is, Very creative and I love the piano near the beginning when the vocals come in (15sec mark)

But as Ricori suggested. I would love to hear more smooth vocals AS WELL AS the ones you have going now =) Keep it up

May I ask, How did you record this?
Guitar parts specifically?

JDawg00100 responds:

Hey thanks! I used an old Line 6 UX1 Toneport with a Xiphos XPT700 tuned to Drop C, recorded it in Reaper as well.

Thanks for the listen :D

overall the song isnt all that bad but you could die down with the heavyness with your vocals try a smoother approch to it like slipknot there a few song they have that have the smoothness to their vocals and then build up to the end because i dont want yall to kill ur vocals like this XD

JDawg00100 responds:

That's a pretty good suggestion, I will try it out. Thanks :D
