I really enjoyed making this song! Initially I was going to tell a short story along with the song, and there was even a different title to this piece. However, I decided against that and thought that it would be more interesting to leave this one open to interpretation by making it somewhat ambiguous.

Since this is something I hardly ever do, I would really like to hear your own take on this song, what you think it is based on or is about. :)

Speaking about JRPGs, it reminds me most of Secret of Mana, because of the chromatic percussion and the mystic mood. The synth lead seems a little out of place amongst all of those orchestral instruments I think. Not that it sounds bad.

There's a game I haven't played in a long, long time. I actually can't even remember the soundtrack to Secret Mana, so perhaps I should go back and check it out again!

I can see what you mean about the synth I used, it is a bit of a misfit in some aspects. but in others I think it shines quite nicely. Thanks for the review SourJovis! :)

This would really be great for a JRPG of some kind or another LOL. This is great! Sounds like something you'd get out of a Square Enix or Level 5 soundtrack!

When I listen to this song I see a frozen city located inside a cavern where the villagers are hard at work. the echoing bells give sort of a cave vibe.
Very nice composition Neon! Can't wait to hear what you'll write next.
