Baroque form, with super weird execution. Super fonky-fresh. Review or I'll shake my fist.

Hmm...Not bad.

I liked it. Although its not quite what I'm looking for when I think Fugue, your spin has a nice ring to it. Like Nemo said, there were some parts in the middle that just didn't work well to my ears.

I'd definitly like to see this with an electric guitar addition to add an almost ominous, Castlevania-esque feel. Though that's just what I'd like to see out of Fugue. 9/10

Sweet

A true classical piece. Pieces like this make me want to study classical music more. Makes me aware just how behind I am for my own classical compositions.

Great stuff man, nothing to add, just perfect. 5/5 from me.

Scarlatti responds:

Wow, thank you. That makes me want to study more, too. Music is all I really care about, and reviews like this make all that studying and struggling worth it. Much love to all the people.

Just short of being amazing

I thought it was a very well written piece of music. I enjoyed listening to the beginning of the piece the most. There was a few parts during the middle that were a bit of a turn off; just a few note combinations that did not strike my fancy.

The one suggestion I have would be to add a little bit of reverb in the song. While it still sounds very good, I think it would be a little bit better with some echo in it.

All in all, great work. Though it is not perfect, I still gave it a 5 because it was quite good. I am going to go listen to all of your other stuff now.

:)

Scarlatti responds:

Thank you. Reviews are very important to me, regardless of the opinion. Reviews like this, I love. There are indeed some very dissonant parts in the middle there, but those result mostly from overlapping the fugue subject, perhaps a bit too often.

I thought about reverb, but I decided that the intimacy of no reverb was better. I think that was a bad decision. A touch of reverb would lend some yumminess, yes.

I try to do my best. Perfection is always just a little bit farther.

Thank you for your favorable vote. You might be disappointed in my other stuff, though. This is a departure for me, but I think it's the new direction I'm taking.
