AnisonTwilight Demo Reel

I played around with some voices for a regular demo reel. It's not great in the least. I was using school equipment that I found in a room out in the middle of nowhere. There wasn't a pop shield, so in some of the voices there's a little too much air and the "P"s seem over pronounced.

I currently don't have any equipment of my own, atm, but I'm thinking about getting some. Really just doing this as a random hobby type thing. The voices I used were just whatever popped in my head. Would have loved to have had a script and a character or two to use, but instead I had to make them up. If I get more experience with this, then I'll put together some samplings of the voice work for a better reel.

Constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks.

PS: I have little (read "no") audio mixing experience, so these are raw straight from the mic, pretty much. The only thing that I really did was normalize the volume and cut out some of the breaths that could be heard. I haven't done breathing exercises or straight up chorale singing in years.

Good start.

The only criticism I can give is never have excuses in your description. If you want to be taken seriously, produce work that shouldn't need to be apologized for. You already understand where your weak points are. People will want to work with you if you solve those problems, and don't show less quality work.

Good luck!

Thanks for the criticism. I am looking into finding some lines and such for other demo work that I can be more confident in. I appreciate the feedback.
