A short suite for a comic panel
Short story short: I rarely can compose for something which is not for a project. Even if I try so damn hard to make music just for fun and learning, I just sit there on my desk and nothing happens. So I had this idea involving the extremely talented animator Michael J. Ruocco, who would recommend me a painting or similar I could make music for. This one has been made for a single panel from Tintin:

And now that I got a reason to compose music for, everything seems so easy! But I did drift off at the end. I think it's safe to say that more stuff like this will be coming.

Too bad this is so short. Because this piece is just awesome. And it fits perfectly to the single panel you linked to in the comment section. I really would like to read the whole comic with your music in the background. :)
So, if you ever have too much time on your hands... why not try to put a Tintin comic into a flash, and composing the music for it? ^^

Damn this is good, it sounds like a movie score! And you did it just to a picture? That is pretty impressive and unexpected if I didn't read the description. It's pretty cool that you were able to make a music score based on just one picture, when it sounded like a score. I'm a little disappointed at how short it is DX but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. And I'm sorry that you can't write music without making it for something :/ That must be terrible man. I really hate to critique music that belongs fits an image, game, movie, or whatever. I would comment on how well it fit to the image, but the link won't work for me DX I'm sure you did a great job though. i really enjoyed this. Nice work.
