This was my audition to the ScrewAttack series, "DEATH BATTLE!" for their next fight, which, if you didn't know, I will not spoil who Superman's opponent is. I nearly actually got the part, but both the director, Ben Singer, and I decided that my particular voice doesn't quite fit the role of Superman. So, he has this as a demo. The glassy noise, as I've determined, is the result of an echo in the trailer that I was recording in. Next time we'll record in a better location.
Recording was done with help from Mr Lange (Short-Factor), using FL Studio. While I didn't get the role, this is still a good example of my voice and some of its capabilities. Next recording will be in a better location with better quality.
Yeah, the voice used for "Death Battle" was better. You still delivered that World Of Cardboard speech wonderfully. Dang, is that such an iconic moment. These are definitely things he would say. You should probably put in more emotion. It sounds a bit dull at times.
There might be something wrong with the recording device. Then again, I don't know how FL Studio works. This was a nice attempt. It's been too long since I've heard your voice. Have I ever even heard it before?
Yay for your first VA submission! And I mean that as in, being sent in to someone for a role. I think you did pretty awesome! Better than I could have ever done. XD
