Cold and Short

I honestly think this song sounds more warm than it does cold, but I didn't want to call it warm and short, that just doesn't seem like it would have went over well. Anywho, just give me your thoughts, I know it's short, but hey, maybe it might inspire something. I'm always open for criticism, as long as it helps me improve. As always, thanks newgrounds, you're helping me become better every submission.

On a side note, the beginning of this song is actually the way my track "Unsure" was supposed to originally begin, but when I played the two parts together, they just didn't mesh well, so I split them up, making two songs from what was once one.

Cool

Yes, definitely feels warm. More soothing and calm feeling. I also agree with Jebus below me about that reversed sound part. Some parts remind me of Peggle lol.

Constructive criticism woo! One bit I think could use improvement is the repetition of the melody at 0:12 on. Like, the last four bars of it could have a little variation or something different accompanying it.

It flows really nicely besides that bit, I didn't even realize it looped (which is a good thing). Nice work =)

Thanks, that seems to be a theme with most of my tracks, repetition, not something that I'm having much success with breaking. I'll eventually get there. Thank you for the feedback though, it has been helpful. But all of the songs on newgrounds pretty much loop anyway, doesn't matter if it's a song or a loop, the repeat button is automatically on.

Not bad

This song was a good listen for sure. I really like your drums. I also really like the part that starts at about 1:24. It really flows well together. My only suggestion is to try to vary your patterns so that it isn't as repetitive. Also, try using effects and/or automation. But beyond that I need to say great job! This was very well done, and I hope you keep up the good work.

Also, if you have a moment, I would really appreciate your input on my latest song. I would be much obliged. :)

SSJDre responds:

Thanks, I'm still learning a lot, so it's hard to get away from a part once I get it going, especially if it sounds nice. I'm trying to figure out how to transition, I know I did good with this song, but some of my other ones haven't actually gone as well. Effects are a bit more difficult to use for me, or maybe there is something that I'm just not noticing that would make it easier for me to use them. I did actually change the drums ever so slightly, I'm not sure if you noticed it or not, but if you pay close attention, there is a change. I'm not exactly even sure what automation is, but I'm pretty sure it's something I need to know. I'll gladly check out your stuff though, it's the least I could do since you've been such a great help to me, thanks, and I'll go listen asap.
