Quick custom made song for tehbladeclan's upcoming Gears of War animation. Sorry for the length, but he wanted it to be just over a minute, so, yeah...

This uses Monster Staccatos for the staccato strings, the Sorohampler VST for the guitar in the background, the Hypersonic 2 VST for the lead guitar that plays in the second repetition of the horns melody, and random drum wav samples for the drums.

Speaking of the Sorohampler VST, thanks a bunch to sorohanro for making it and giving it out for free. It comes with really awesome samples, such as bamboo samples, and of course, the guitar power chords I used. You can get it over here (remove spaces):

Anyway, I hope it's somewhat decent. I was asked to make this a bit similar to Gears of War in style, and although I may have failed at that, I still think it's pretty decent. I hope you enjoy it!

Cool stuff you got here. It definitely has that "hero" theme in here. Only downside is that this sort of has an amateur sound to it, like it doesn't sounds all that profesisonal. I guess it could just be the cheesy sounds, but I dunno.

Keep it up and good luck in the contest. I should hopefully submit something soon too.

Thanks! It probably sounds amateur because of the really mad mixing and mastering, but it could be because of the sounds. The guitar isn't real, and it isn't from an expensive library of guitars either (unlike the strings and french horn which are from East/West Symphonic Orchestra), so that could be it.

I just submitted this as a sort of backup submission. I'm doing the real submission with a friend of mine :).
