My 2nd take at a town/city theme (my first being Dock Town, I guess).
This one too was a request from a fellow "Newgrounds-er" for a game of his... However I think I kinda failed the request here. See, this guy told me he needed a theme for a mostly "imperial and lively"-themed capital city. However, when composing the song, I kinda got carried away and I felt I JUST had to finish the theme as I was doing it.
As you can see (or more accurately, hear xD), I kinda went overboard on the "imperial" feeling. I still think, though, that it still kinda gives that sense of freedom my requester described about his game's city, but probably what this theme needed was a bit more happiness, I guess. Well, I still really liked how it turned out in the end, and that's why I'm posting it. I'll probably have to give it a 2nd try, but it's not like it's too hard to give it another shot, I guess :D
I specially liked the 2nd half of the song, the section with the bells. Actually... the bells kind of remind me of Final Fantasy 7 for some reason...

Once again, nice job. But isn't this your third city theme after Dock Town and City of the Bards?
By the way, on my review for City of the Bards, I noticed your comment on it being similar to Dragon Roost Island in the description after I posted my review. Whoops! ^^;
You know what? You're absolutely right, this IS the third one xD sometimes I forget about City of the Bards for some reason!
