Despite causing relational tribulations by his bad habits that ruined my everyday family once beautiful, i got to know my late father..eventually as a close friend who was willing to make sacrifices to be with his children in the last weeks of his life. This is how i want to remember him, this is who he was to me.
And sitting on the shores of the shipfarer's town of urk in the netherlands, i still remember your words.

he died in 2001 actually so ive had time to 'cope.
Not that i can hold a tear when i go through childtime photos, even dropped one looking for a photo of him for the CD pic.
I mean i'll always miss having him around.
