I worked on this music on and off over the course of the year. I feel I went overboard, but yet, I don't think I did? Maybe?

Well, I just call it a Atlantis adventure. It has watery synths. Asia and India influences. Sonic the Hedgehog comes to mind as well, not my intention at the beginning, where is was very tiny.

The original also had my real electric guitar parts, which I worked on tirelessly to get just right. . . Until my external hard drive burned out.

I also sang on the original version, but the lyrics were dumber then a second coat of paint. All I was influenced by was water from the music, and I already did a number of water based songs.

ALSO on the original version, was a fretless electric bass with phazing effect. It sounded great, until I lost that with my hard drive.

So, as I went to get my computer fixed, I made alot of use of my amp and just focused on guitar playing.

Then. . . My amp busted.

Well there goes that plan, down the toilet. The music store in town already repaired it three months earlier, and they read me the riot act.

So I was guitarless, dont own a acoustic yet. SO I decided if I am going to work on something musically, might as well be FL Studio.

I felt so damn dirty making bass parts with FL Studio. Like I betrayed my guitar. But, on the other hand, I learned so much in creating what I'd like to feel as solid bass riffs. They are pretty much a reflection of the techniques I was practicing on with a real bass guitar at the time of the amp explosion.

The galloping bass part towards the end was a technique pioneered by Bernard Edwards from Chic. I am FAR from mastering that technique on a real bass.

Most of the bass is inspired by John Taylor from Duran Duran.

I should really call this, the song that is about a bass guitar. God, I miss my amp.
