Inspired by remixers like SnappleMan, Sixto, norg, Armcannon and others, this is a power/prog metal, synth-rock, balls to the wall remix of the battle and boss themes of Final Fantasy 6. Tons of over the top riffs, solos, and pure wankery. Hope you enjoy it. Oh yeah...

ALL THE GUITARS in this remix are 100% sampled!! Nothing is live. I used a sample library called "Shreddage" which I created, and which you can get for only $49. Check it out at..

This sounds so awesome! It doesn't even sound completely sampled, and yet, there they are. Damn, this remix rocks so hard, sick job man! :D

Sounds awesome. Reminds me of how much I love Nobuo. It's hard to fuck up when covering something so amazing to begin with XD

Rhythm guitars definitely can sound as good as the real thing, as shown here. However, I've yet to hear lead guitars sound very human or dynamic (it's a good thing you didn't use them here). That's my only beef with them.

Very very

nice , awesome!!!

well i give this song a 10

the guy below and suck it because he would not have picked up on it if you hadn't put in the description you used samples. Still awesome song. hope to see another one like this from you hopefully soon

Great job!

I get that you used samples to make this song and how that is a lot of work. But it still sounds like a bunch of samples to me. Samplers have a lot of way to go before you sound like the real thing. That's why you get a 9. Keep up the good work, but until you perfect it I'm not giving you a 10. And neither should anyone else. That's just coddling.

zirconmusic responds:

I'm pretty sure if I hadn't said I used guitar samples, you wouldn't have picked up on it. You can A/B them to Sixto actually playing and there's really no noticeable difference... that's why the editor-in-chief of Computer Music magazine said that even HE, as a guitarist, was going to be using Shreddage for rhythm tracking since it sounds as good as the real thing.
