Same as everyone apparently, FL Studio 9. I don't really use any of the internal instruments except 3xosc and Boobass.
Aw.
The "8-bit surprise" was ruined for me, since I read the reviews, though what I really like is the beat, and the way they fit together just makes it all that much better!
Very Nice Intro.
props on that intro flows nice. and then the 8 bit after it is nice.. little something different.
drum stutter is hot. how'd u do that?
Thanks much :]
The stuttering was partially done by hand (just by repeating the drum quickly and changing its velocity), but I also used dblue Glitch (free vst, google it) for some of the effects.
8 bit Awesome
It came out of no where. I was thinking to my self, "this is neat.. Oh that was a neat little stutter in the drums. Oh that was another. nice progression. 8-BIT!!!!!! AHHHHHH 8 BIT!!!" nice bleed into the 8bit "solo" if you will. Im a sucker for anything that takes me to my living room when i was 5 playing NES. Its so subtle the second time in the progression I didn't even notice it till my second time listening to it.
Great job Homeslice
10/10
Ableton, Reason, or both? or Neaither?
FL Studio :D
Mind you, I only use external VSTs and samples (with a few exceptions, like 3xosc and parametric eq 2), which is why you can't tell.
Oh... I actually used Boobass for the bass in this song. Oh well. I have Reason and plan to learn it eventually, but I'm too lazy at the moment :D
How is it that I never noticed this song?
Because it is awesome =D
