Love it
My most ambitious piece yet, and rather experimental (kinda like the Rite of Spring? Ha, I am not that good) in its form and harmony.
This tells the story of the Biblical king Qoheleth, who attempts to preach the masses the vanity of all things, but it crowded out by the din they make. Despairing, he contemplates the greatest of all vanities, the sun itself.
This is a rather long piece, and I wanted it to be that way, cut into three distinct parts:
1. The Introduction/There's nothing new under the sun
2. Preaching to the people, 'sed frustra' (In vain)
3. All is vanity, There's nothing new under the sun
This reflected a musical breakdown I had a while back, so it is kind of charged with a lot of anger and confusion.
Well, enjoy! or not...
Love it
Villain reminiscence
Nice , for some reason it make me think of a long cut scene explaining and showing why a character became the big villain in a Zelda 64-ish game :D .
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
