As I am sure the scores of this song will no doubt reflect in a very short while.
I've been listening to a lot of Bach as of late, courtesy of Glenn Gould, so i tried my hand at writing a counterpoint experiment for the organ (well, it can be for the piano just as well), working at this for two straight hours from 2 AM till 4 AM, just about.

I don't know how the ol' man managed to make infinitely more and infinitely longer counterpoint series, but I guess that's why I'm not the German master.

Enjoy!

Reverse Engineering :))

Reverse engineering on Bach.
Good work on that, sounds good as composition and also as sound/ mixing.
Also writing this in 2 hours it's sort of musical marathon :))

Good one.

Counterpoint is a bitch.

Man, I love Bach. He is the supreme god of music as we know it. And yeah, counterpoint is one of the most fantastic tools that one can use to enhance the song. And yes, for the sake of the erudite sound, you have to be a REALLY GOOD musician. Ergo, you are definitely one talented musician.

EmperorCharlemagne responds:

Thanks for the kind words, my man. I too find myself loving Bach more and more as my musical knowledge grows... It seems that for one so early he was far ahead of his time, even to this day, Cagean be damned.

It ain't perfect, but I like it, and am glad you like it too.
