This loop was my first attempt to make a game-compatible loop.

It has a fast-paced sci-fi feel and might be useful in some flash game/animation.

Great!

Try not to use auto sytrus presets, use the box on the right and screw around with the knobs! You will like what comes out! If you make it so no one recognizes it thats awesome! It sounds cool, only, maybe make one more synth, you will get it. I suggest you invest in (Or crack, if you really want to) Vanguard. Vanguard is an amazing Vst that has very professional sounding mods and even presets! Give it a try. Anyway, good song overall, i love the melody!

Wow, thanks!

Ok, I'll mess around with the knobs next time ;o).

hmm... Vanguard huh? Got to check that out....

Thanks once more for the good tips and awesome score!

everything is great! excluding the tamberine...

tamberines are the oldest trick in the dance book. and they are awful LOL. next it is claps though. so avoid those to. :D

Anyways! i love this piece. If it had no tamberines, it would be in my favourites. seriously.
I love your synths. and your harmonics in this piece are truly epic. Veyr unusual. VERY sci fi! you have some good ideas. none the less I am still waiting for you to produce a classical piece!

SFaPiL2 responds:

LOL. Yeah, I must agree. When I heard this song after a few days I noticed a few problems and one of these was that the tamberine had NOTHING to do with Sci-Fi.

"you have some good ideas" :
Thanks! The problem is that what I have in mind sometimes seems pretty cool, but then I have problems in creating it EXACTLY. Maybe one day I'll be able to ;o).

Nice

great use of acid loop there. by the way what synth did you use for the 8-bit style stuff?

SFaPiL2 responds:

Thanks. I think it's called "Square Purity".

Nice!

It does loop very nicely, some cool 8-bittish stuff going on.

I think there's a bit too much reverb on the chippy stuff, it loses some quality that chip needs, in my opinion.

SFaPiL2 responds:

Got it. Did the chippy 8-bit sound have too much reverb? It didn't seem like it for me.

Thanks for the info.

Pretty good.

I can barely tell that it loops. The only reason that I could tell it was going to loop at all was because of the little fade out effect where you made things more quiet towards the end of the song so it would fit the beginning of the submission a little better.

You did something that people that make loops for video games have a hard time doing. You made it long enough without it being too long and you added enough variety throughout the song so that it's not that repetitive of a loop. For some reason people don't understand what I mean by a loop not being repetitive and this is exactly what I mean. You added enough variety throughout the entire song so by the time it gets back to the beginning it doesn't really sound like it's the same old same old all over again because we kind of forget exactly how it sounds.

Good job all around and it will probably be used for a flash submission, especially a game. Or at least it would be useful for that.

SFaPiL2 responds:

I'm glad that it's not repetitive. I was worried that there was TOO much variety, making the listener distracted.

Thanks alot. I hope it'll be useful to someone.
