Quite impressive!
You've taken a departure from some people's expectations of a more pleasant, easy-going song by throwing in a nice combination of more serious sounding things to accompany it!
This was written in one day... today.
This is really just a bit of fun, I didn't spend time perfecting the guitar solo's like I usually do, Just one take for each solo.
There are two main influences on this song. One comes from watching the dark knight and it's awesome sound track, I experimented with creating musical tension at the start of the peice, similar to the Joker's theme music. The other main influence is the mars volta who i've been listening to a lot lately.
If you're interested, my distortion pedal is a Rat2 by Proco.
I also noticed that during the introduction, depending on where i started concentrating, my brain changes wether i hear the guitar on the off beat or the downbeat.

Intro too long, if it was abit shorter it would be
ya I loved the song but I was about to forget listening to it because the intro is WAY too long for me. :/
guitar hero!
Great tune, great influences and you're a guitar hero!
love it!
Cheers mate, hopefuly my head can still fit through the door
Great
I loved the intro, the quiet part was just a little too long, but then it kicked in with a great solo. I liked the sounds you used, and the other solos were good as well.
However, I felt the fade out didn't really fit, it seems as though it would have been better to go out with a bang for this one.
Still, it was a nice piece, good work.
Thanks for the feedback. I will probably come back one day and finish this peice, but that day is not today :P
Yeah i too am not happy with the ending, I have to be honest and say that this was a half hearted Job, If i expand upon this in the future, it will definatley go out with a bang! :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
