This is for the December MAC8 Competition where we were supposed to make a song related to new year's resolution and change and that kind of stuff. It was supposed to be all happy, but I wanted to be more cynical/serious about.
Pretty much the song goes into the need for a change, then as the song builds up, all the work and determination that goes into, then as it goes into the final piano solos, it signifies how our spirit needs to stand up to the real world and how many are crushed no matter how hard...
Yup, a bit dramatic and corny, and no I am not depressed :D

I would only change the amount of reverb on that piano. And the hihat is a bit loud. If you have soundgoodizer, that can really help keep an instrument loud but quite (if that makes sense lol). For the visual you try to represent, I think it fits nicley. Other than the reverb problems, this is a very nice song. I especially love that part at about 1:10, Which I think you should definatly build on.

I always though that the reverb on the piano contributed to the atmospheric effect, but after showing it to a few friends they all say its too much, so I guess i'll turn it down :D

Overpowing piano.
I actually like this song.
But the reverb on that piano really covers up most of the sound-scape.
I think it'd do real good with some dynamics.

Hmmm very nice apps and effects here, nice Piano and patterns
However the HiHat instrument might be a little too dominating. Perhaps lower its volume a tad and bring up the Kick a tad more, other than that I find no issues here :3
