Full title is "For Whom the Dark Should Fear the Most, With Love"

Unlike my other stuff, this is NOT in my comfort zone. My friends have been on my ass for some time now to make a techno song, so I did. That being said, I've actually enjoyed making it. This song, however, was made for, and is dedicated to, my beautiful and amazing girlfriend. So, for my friends, enjoy you mother-fuckers >=(

And for my girlfriend, enjoy =D

AWSOME!!!

Thanks for the review =D

Nice Song XD

I enjoyed it, it changed rhythms and patterns constantly, something I enjoy. However, you need more beats and more tempo. This song is a little too passive for me, know what I mean? Like elevator music, thats as passive as you get (it is made to be passive). However, this is NOT as passive as elevator music, but it is pretty passive. Work on making your songs more dramatic. Speed and loudness changes are GOOD for that. You may also want to try slurring some stuff, if you can figure out how!

Thanks for this song though! It deserves a 4!

Joobles responds:

Hey man, thanks for the review! I completely agree with everything you said. This song was difficult for me because it was out of my genre comfort-zone. I don't plan on doing anything like this again in the future, I'm going back to my normal style. The next couple of songs I'm working will most DEFINATELY have dramatic builds to them, since I'm trying to keep my normal style but go more orchestral. Anywho, I'm not ENTIRELY sure what you mean by more beats? I can guess at it, but I'm not positive as to what you mean. If you want, PM me with what you mean, I would greatly appreciate that. Also, I would even MORE greatly appreciate it if you could review all of my other stuff. I plan on doing remakes of most of them, and I need some kickstarting ideas as to where to go with them. I already know everything that's wrong with them, it would just be nice to hear some different sides to the songs from other people.

Anyways, thanks for the review and the critisism! I'm a masocist when it comes to my songs, and I actually enjoy reviews that point out more of the bad than good =D

Hopefully catch you later!

Damn good.

This is awesome and not only for your first techno outing. On one hand it reminds me of Kelvin and even Cadence but on the other hand it's something completely new and fresh. The synth and drum beats are perfect, the effects and other instruments are done well and the end before the break is great. My favorite thing about this song is that I can FEEL the song. Not only am I hearing it, I'm feeling it. When I first heard it(I'm now on my sixth play-through) it gave me goosebumps and brought images to my mind. It's beautiful and mesmerizing at the same time, a true work of art.

Now that being said the song isn't perfect. The piano feels out of place in the beginning and in some small places throughout the song. I think this could be remedied by adding a few more notes in the line and I think the break before the finish is a little bit too long. Other than that A+.

I really like this song, It's techno yet distinctly Joobles(which should be it's own genre). It's not really a 9 more like a 9.75 but NG doesn't allow for decimal rating :(

Damn you for making us wait four months for more Joobles, damn you I say.

Joobles responds:

Well, as always, you are amazing. And I'm glad to know that I got the imagery through the song, I worked hard on that. About the piano... oh well. To be honest, I'm tired of working on that song, and most likely won't get arouond to fixing it. But, that being said, it won't be 4 months again, since I am making an entire song based on that random little ending I put on this one twenty seconds after you thought it was over. And it's shaping up to be the best damn thing I've ever created. and after that, I think I'm going to re-do two of my other songs, Astral Eclipse and Western Gun.

And YOU need to start making music, dammit :P Ever since your journal post, I've been waiting.

And yes, I agree about needing my own genre. BUT I NEED MORE FANS!!!! I FEED off of them. They SUSTAIN me, like Ramen Noodles Pop-Tarts. But, you will remain my favorite fan, if I ever get more. But whatever. So long as one person likes what I do, I shall continue with my music making endeavours.

AND GET TO MAKING MUSIC, DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!

dont lie

we both know this song is for me :P

Joobles responds:

The magical review fairy shall piss on your cheerios.

Which isn't much of a diss, seeing as how fairy piss tastes like frosting...
