This is the extended mix of the song "Stranger In Mobius" that was uploaded last year. Due to the widely positive reception of Newgrounds users and the maximum upload size being increased to 8mb, I am now uploading the full version of the song which features an epic intro and a lo-fi outro as well as a much beefier mix overall.

For the uninitiated, this is a remix of the Sonic 3 credits theme, the imfamous tune that added speculation that Michael Jackson himself worked on the soundtrack. I wanted to give the song a more epic and modern vibe. I think it came across nicely.

Shit fire man! Glad I searched this one back up!

I originally downloaded the first mix of this song and was blown away for a long time. I decided to fire up my ipod on a long trip home yesterday and replayed this song, and I thought to look old newgrounds songs back up to see if they were updated. Boy I'm glad I did! Even though this has probably the longest intro I've ever heard (3 minutes man!) this new mix is better in every way. However (btw, I'm writing this review as I listen) I am noticing that this song has a dramatically reduced tempo from the original. I'm guessing this was to fit the previous size restraint? Anyway, this slowed down tempo really brings out all the nuances of the synthesized sounds in this piece. I really had no idea that this was from a sonic game, but I can definitely see it now. Anyway, since it's been 6 months from the last review, I can see this song isn't getting the attention it deserves. sorry about that man. Keep up all you are doing! (If you are still on this site!) It's weird that the song I made ages ago when I was only learning remains my most popular. Yeah, the intro is riduclously long, no arguments there. The main reason why I chose this one to remix was because it's not well known and there's no reason why that should be the case. There are far too many Ice Cap and Green Hill Zone remixes out there.

Thanks very much for your feedback. It always seems like my Sonic remixes do amazingly well compared to my other stuff!

Incedible!

I wasn't impressed wit the short version, but this one is top notch! I was enthralled throughout the whole song. It flows so seamlessly I couldn't stop listening to it XD
