Hey everyone! I made another song. This one's a fun dance track that you can dance to. I started it in June and got up to the first drop, however I dropped it for a while and worked on some other cool songs. This was because I wasn't sure where I wanted to take the song after the drop.
In August, I made a melody that I liked and placed it right after the drop. Now I had more ideas for Flower and was actually able to finish it. Hooray! I also added an autoduck effect to make it sound punchier. So I had the song basically finished by September, and by then, I was just adding some small tweaks to make sure it sounded as good as possible.
I realized that I accidentally used a low-pass filter throughout the whole song, since the very beginning had one and I forgot to completely disable the filter after it was done. I ended up removing that low-pass filter at the beginning snce the song sounds better without it in my opinion. I also added a compressor because one day I noticed adding a compressor to the master made it sound more intense, which I really liked. I barely know how a compressor works and kind of just used it as a Soundgoodizer lol.
Also, I was going to release the song yesterday, but when exporting it, I noticed that there was a loud clicking sound at 3:10. It wasn't there when I played the song on FL Studio Mobile, only when I actually exported the song and listened to the audio file. I found out the reason the click was there was because I had a cymbal track stop at that exact point, and the solution was to move the ending of the track slightly to the left, which didn't affect anything.
Total time spent – 5 hours, 56 minutes, and 54 seconds. I would probably add an hour more because there were a lot of times where I experimented with the song and didn't save because it was an experiment. And for some reason FL Studio Mobile only counts the time you spent during a certain session if you saved the project.
