Happy birthday!! I can relate to being homesick sometimes :(
The song though is great! It's moody, but also groovy and a little rocky (especially because of the guitar). It sounds a bit nostalgic too somehow, kind of reminiscent, which fits the theme of homesickness too. Great work, and once again happy birthday, I wish you all the best!

Its my bday but I'm feeling homesick. I miss L.A. and all the people I grew up with. Its been several years since I've been back. Just feeling the motions so I came up with something to soothe mi mente.

Yeah my wife and kids made it better and it was nice to just watch scary movies with them.
I get homesickness now and again but it passes. I think for me its being so far from home. Before I used to be only 4 hours drive from home but now I'm several days drive or a several hours plane ride from home and its just too far.
