The world, as it is structured, seems to be an endless spiral of unfulfilled aspirations, where every effort to make sense runs up against the inertia of the powerful people. Human beings, in their quest for meaning, are often nothing more than puppets pulled by the invisible strings of chance, biology and merciless social dynamics. In this perspective, the world is a purgatory disguised as a playground, where suffering and waiting are omnipresent, even under the mask of apparent freedom.

The purgatory, a concept of purification and waiting, can be seen as a mirror of earthly life : an existence of trial and error, judgements, and eternally deferred hopes. We live in a cycle where the illusion of progress only delays the inevitable confrontation with our own helplessness. What is called "evolution" is only the passage from one state of suffering to another one, where human consciousness is both blessed and cursed by its capacity to question itself without ever finding definitive answers.

In this purgatory-world, every action seems to be vain, every hope is tinged with an inevitable futility, and yet we continue to move forward, not by enlightened choice, but by the irresistible momentum of our very condition, like souls awaiting a redemption that will , indeed, never come.

Pretty fun, isnt it ?

Very cool this one... it reminds me of JRPG games I grew up on, like Golden Sun or Breath of Fire... the atmosphere's there from the start, but it builds nicely along the way too...

It doesn't feel quite as dark to me in audio as the description seems to portray it, more so adventurous, exciting, a quest, a mystery, a journey... not necessarily straight up purgatory!

Love the sound anyhow, it's tense but also pleasantly atmospheric. :) I think the little whistle sounds contribute to that impression too...

Thank you for your comment, to be honest you're pretty right, did what I could to make a solid description but the music is probably one of my most atmospheric ones x)

And also, thanks for your endless support from the moment you found my profile, it is awesome to see someone likes my songs, whatever the other songs it can be compared to :)
