So almost a year ago I wrote a little song for one of my favorite horror games, Lily's Well by PureIceBlue, and put it on my YouTube channel. Today I thought, "Fuck it. I don't post here enough. Let's upload it here too." I kept to the simplistic and repetitive style of the game when I wrote this, and I honestly still really like it. It has its issues, sure, but it's still nice to listen to. Hope you find at least minimum enjoyment if you give it a listen.
Lily's Well is free on Steam. I recommend it. Go play it. Please.
Also I'm a fucking idiot I've been tagging my shit as BandLab instead of Cakewalk cuz I thought they were the same thing.
Lyrics: Papa tucks me in and tells me he'll be back home soon The rain leaves tiny drip-drops that echo all across my room But what woke me up was something rain could never bring From outside my window, someone's screaming out for me Papa raised me right, So I venture outside In the dead of night, I make my climb But my rope is ending Am I near? I can't tell Papa, send some help When Lily falls down the well Papa tucks me in and tells me, "rest those little eyes" And that's very easy when the rain's my lullaby But what woke me up was something chilling to the bone From among the flowers, someone screams all alone I'm a good girl, right? So I venture outside In the dead of night, I make my climb (Again) But my rope is swaying No one can hear me yell Papa, come home soon When Lily falls down the well But I know what's right, So I venture outside In the dead of night (For the thousandth time), I make my climb (Again) But my rope is fraying And I'm rotting in the well Papa, send some flowers When your little girl falls straight to hell
