"I thought it would show me the way...
I was wrong. I see clearly now...
May the finality break this fake reality."
Me and Kasamiku's first ever collab song project, and also a rejected entry for vivid/statis' Sunset Serenade rhythm game contest, which concluded last month; being also a cross-platform project, totaling around two or three weeks' time, with me tackling on with OpenMPT, and Kasa on Logic Pro X, we had quite some interesting, often groundbreaking ideas in regards to the theme we are aiming for, which is related to the game's emergent story itself, especially Saturday's rather endless cycle of anguish and illusionary reality as the chapters and logs venture on.
This particular version is named "Jup's Mix", which means it's the original tracker module (XM-format) I've worked the entire song on alongside him, with all its quirks and bits. Mind you, in the end, it ballooned to over 100 MB in size, due to the high-quality stems and samples of ours we used and manipulated on this one, thus basically barring the file for a raw The Mod Archive release for logical reasons. And also, two more reasons: it's not only slightly longer and sonically-different in some parts than Kasa's finalized mix, but I also mastered the whole render myself, using whatever VSTs I had at hand to make everything stick out to the best of my abilities.
