This is a 5-minute improvisation session I did today. It is the first I've done in months, the first I'm going to make public, and the first audio I made for the portal.
Notably I do not have a piano. That's fine, LMMS has the ability to record notes on the computer keyboard. So I did that. That might explain why there isn't a lot of bass or high treble. I was also trying to think of some themes as I went along with this, hence the pauses. Hopefully you still enjoy it.
Despite the date, I do not particularly think this has to do with the event that some of you may have witnessed or thinking about on this day. It was largely me trying to channel some emotion and write some more personal music than I have before. Any sadness I poured into the music is, at best, mostly (though not entirely) coincidental. I only minimally processed this, just giving it more loudness. I am actually surprised at how dynamic the audio file is.
I'm not trained in the piano at all, but I still felt the need to do this. May you guys enjoy this. And do rate and review.
