Here is the first song in my new album (and also the first song after a couple months of not uploading). I had an idea one day to make an album based off the different types of dinosaurs that I found cool. So I did some research into how they were classified and made this. Every song other than the first song is named after a certain type of dinosaur. This project not only improved my music skills, but also my visual art and video skills as well.

This intro to the album was inspired by some orchestral tracks. I used a bunch of different instruments and plugins that I don't normally use to make the first half and second half of the song but it turned out very well. Because of its short length I was easily able to make sure each part of the song was sounding as it should.

The visuals for this song are inspired by Excision style visuals. Especially the ones with dinosaurs and stuff. The dinosaur was made in Blender and the background was a composite of various landscape images. The animation was made with Luma Dream Machine (thanks to Zoftle for showing me this). I am hoping to put more effort into visuals from here on out. Maybe 80% of my time will be spent on the song and a good 20% of my time on the video.

I will be splitting this album into two parts on YouTube. This is so that I don't overwhelm you with 8 videos all in one day. I will be posting the first half today and the second in a couple weeks.
